The Snapshot routine runs concurrently with other users of the WAS database to make a copy of the database at a moment in time.  In case of an error, this copy can be restored with the Restore routine. This is quicker than making a backup, but it doesn’t take away the importance of making other regular backups on media that can be stored in a safe place. Click on the Snapshot button on the WAS main form and click on the Yes button to confirm.  The following screen will appear displaying scrolling information of the backup process.  If this screen opens and closes immidiately without any scrolling lines, it means that the Firebird bin path is NOT setup correctly.  Show me how...  The screen will close automatically once the snapshot has been completed. The snapshot of the WAS database will be created in the default WAS folder with a file name similar to WASIB26_2_2009_9_1.gbk File name Date Time File extention
